The Strategic Technologies PeopleSoft Subject Matter Expert – Advanced works
for the KP-IT Organization. Kaiser Permanente is currently undertaking
multiple enterprise level PeopleSoft implementations in the Finance areas.
Responsibilities of the PeopleSoft Subject Matter Expert - Advanced include:
Lead multiple teams composed of technology and business members. Research
and analyze the business requirements, workflows and business processes to
define detailed plans to map functional needs to PeopleSoft product
functionality and define and implementation roadmap for multiple PeopleSoft
Finance modules. Create design and configuration documents from approved
requirement as well as tools such as CaliberRM. Host plans review meetings
with project team members, including: business partners, solution architect,
project development lead and project manager. Attend review sessions in
order to understand workflow requirements and potential issues, risks and/or
conflicts. Conduct all quality assurance activities. Provide input and
recommendations to development lead, solution architect, release manager,
and project manager to improve the quality and assurance of the solution
being developed. Lead efforts in clearly establishing a functional base line
for as-is state and defining the to-be state with a transition roadmap that
includes the key components around business process, policy framework,
process re-design, people change management and working closely with other
technology team members in determining technology and product
configurations. Gathering requirements, documenting requirements, reviewing
requirements. Oversees use case development process, including review of
use-case definitions. Consultation: Consults with regional and national
customers; activities include sponsorship of requested functionality from
triage and documentation through development, testing, training and
deployment of approved requests; may include field visits with user groups,
work with governance bodies and survey/feedback monitoring and analysis for
all systems and applications releases related to project assignments.
Gathering, Analyzing and Identifying: Collects and researches specific
client requirements for projects; identifies and documents functional
requirements; gathers workflow data and basic system specifications.
Creation and Distribution for Review: Creates solution requirements and
distributes working drafts for review and final team approval. Creates
Service Level Agreement and maintains changes to SLA documents. Providing
Recommendations: Provides recommendations around functional design and
configurations. Provides input on exit criteria used for business process
re-engineering, functional and process design. Review and Approval: Reviews
and approves use cases, business requirements, test cases, training
materials, and support requirements. Requirement Minimum Requirements: 8+
years' proven experience with systems/process analysis in Oracle/PeopleSoft
ERP implementations in the Finance Domain. BA or BS in business, health care
or related field. Must Requirements: Understand a wide range health care
processes and business expertise including knowledge of healthcare issues,
workflows, applications, policies, and standards. Minimum of 8 years of
Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP. Proven ability to access and analyze customer
requests; advanced level software knowledge in software tools such as
Captivate, Excel, Access, etc.; critical-thinking and analysis skills;
proven history of exceptional customer service; advanced level
communications and organizational skills. Prefer consultants with 2+ years
of healthcare experience. o Consults with regional and national customers;
activities include sponsorship of requested functionality from triage and
documentation through development, testing, training and deployment of
approved requests; may include field visits with user groups, work with
governance bodies and survey/feedback monitoring and analysis for all
systems and applications releases related to project assignments
