They are looking for a Consultant to work hand-in-hand with their existing IT staff to plan, design and develop the end solution. The project is broken into 2 phases: 1) Upgrade ETL to work with new DB Design. 2) Design final solution improving performance. Job Description: During the first phase, estimated at 3-4 months, they are looking for a Java, XML developer with Oracle, PL/SQL experience to map and code the changes to 29 existing ETL processes. Previous ETL and data migration project experience is a must. The existing systems use native Java with little or no add-on tools and these code changes will adhere to that same design. The same resource may be retained for phase 2 if they have the requisite experience with Architecting a high performing ETL system using the latest in tools and methods.
