HRIS Analyst

6+ month Increments

Max $ pay .  Houston Downtown.TX





Description:  The role of HRIS Analyst will be to understand, provide
technical expertise, and document the business requirements in the HR
organization.  For a particular scope of work, the analyst will work with
the Information Technology service provider to develop a plan to implement a
solution that meets the defined requirements.  Processes that are likely to
be in scope are Talent Management, Employee Data Management, Compensation,
Performance Management, Manager Self-Service, and HR Reporting.

 *Experience:  *

SAP HR system design and implementation
PA / OM experience required
Configuration experience preferred
Global experience, specifically US and Europe preferred
Familiarity with Europe Data Protection laws a plus
Familiarity with Chemical and manufacturing Industry a plus

*Typical Duties:*

Works on problems of various scopes where analysis of situations or data
requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined
procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; may recommend
changes to existing procedures and practices based on analysis of data.
Oversees technology projects include ensuring quality, timeliness and proper
use of HR information retrieved from systems, reviewing and prioritizing
system maintenance and creating enhancement requests for HR module, ensuring
security of HR information through established security protocol, leading
project teams for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc.,
and participating in issue tracking and resolution formulating for all HR
systems.
Insures the integrity of the HR data system.  Develops data integrity
protocols between HR, Payroll and Budget, departments internal to the HR
module as well as protocols between HR and instructional groups.
Designs and develops communication strategies
Prepares reports for employee data
Resolves issues / acts as “troubleshooter” for Human Resources.
Works with IT, Payroll and the HR Business Partners in setting up tables and
defining data fields to insure proper reporting of data to internal and
external customers.
Develop training and documentation of system use for HR users
Researches new techniques in the development of systems and maintains
knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to
HRIS
