Personal interviews will be required. ** * *Responsibilities:*** The QA Analysts will be performing stress testing and integration testing of .Net applications (web-based, transactional processing applications) on a Microsoft platform (SQL Server, Windows 2003/2008). Most of the testing is currently manual, however, Wolters Kluwer is increasing the amount of automated testing and is currently using QTP and Quality Center. Candidates must have both manual and automated testing experience and must have experience with QTP. Candidates must have experience with framework automation in QuickTestPro. The Analysts will be participating in functional specification reviews, developing test plans, writing test scripts, and tracking defects through the software development life cycle. The QA Analysts will be working heavily with the business users and Business Analysts to understand why the application is breaking and determine the root cause in order to fix the application appropriately. As the applications are financial, experience within the financial services industry and testing financial applications is a must. In particular, the QA Analysts must have knowledge of securities/brokerage applications and/or cost basis applications.
