Please reply to: *[email protected]* Position: .Net Developer Location: Apple Valley, MN Duration: 6+Months .NET Developer Contractor role is to plan, develop, test, implement and support all activities related to the integration of data to and from our new Online Banking System. The incumbent ensures this integration project meets business requirements and goals, fulfills end-user requirements, and identifies and resolves system issues. The incumbent is also responsible for testing the interoperability of application modules under development. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE This position requires 5-7 years of related work experience, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years experience in company-wide data integration. Incumbent must be technically fluent in Microsoft .Net, C#, XML, and SQL. Incumbent must also have direct experience with integration tools such as XML Web Service technologies. Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server. Proven experience needed in overseeing the link between cross-functional application data across business units and systems and project management skills. Microsoft certifications preferred in the following areas: Solution Developer, Technology Specialist, and Database Developer. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a thorough knowledge of integration best practices are critical. DIMENSION The incumbent has no supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent may provide information and training to other team members and serve as a resource for questions and problem resolution. MAJOR CHALLENGES Major challenges include the ability to coordinate multiple high priority tasks in order to meet established deadlines. The incumbent must also be able to communicate effectively on both a technical and operational level to ensure the accuracy of assigned work activities. The incumbent is further challenged to understand and assess internal client needs in order to create or enhance a process to meet client expectations. Must be able to estimate and gauge the size of various tasks to build effective scheduling and resource allocation. DECISION MAKING The incumbent works under general supervision while completing normal daily responsibilities. Incumbent must be able to independently complete moderately complex issues. Incumbent consults with more experienced team members or team leader on very specific or unique problems or issues.
