*Business Analyst * * * Location: Evanston, IL Duration: 6+ Months Openings: 2 Nos Interview: Phone + In person *Description* • Collaborate with internal and external customers, software engineers, etc. to interview, research, and derive business and functional requirements for products. • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications • Contribute, as required, to the "look" and "feel" of the product including screen design, on-line text, and/or graphical user interface (GUI) consistent with company standards. • Participate in the design and testing phases, including design and testing of prototypes and orchestration and sign-off on acceptance test results to ensure design integrity. *Qualifications* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience working as a Business or Systems Analyst • Experience working in a Product Management or related field a plus • Minimum 5 years software development/design experience a plus • Minimum 3 years health care industry software design application experience a plus • Ability to think analytically, define problems and frame solutions • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members • Ability to interact with internal and external customers to interpret product requirements • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Excellent soft skills, including experience in facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Visio, Word, Excel • Some experience and/or exposure to one or more of the following relational databases; Oracle, SQL server, C++, XML or web services a plus • Experience with Agile/ iterative development methodologies or consumer facing application development is highly desirable Our employees embrace a number of commonly shared values - collaboration, accountability, customer focus, a bias toward action and results, appreciation and respect for diversity, entrepreneurial spirit and, at all times, the highest ethical standards.
