*Position Description: *
1. 1. Problem Solving and Maintenance (50%)
1. a. Develop cross functional system knowledge
2. b. Participate in processes, troubleshooting, investigations, and
user assistance
3. c. Be able to identify, fix and follow through deployment of
critical issues
4. d. Interact with business owners, product managers, project
managers, engineering managers, executives and cross-functional
engineering
teams
5. e. Follow directions, keep peers and manager informed of progress,
changes, and issues
6. f. Prioritize own activities/tasks to completed in a timely manner
7. g. Able to get results with tactical execution and attention to
detail
8. h. Accountable for an individual work and team work
2. 2. Proactive Support and System Tunning (20%)
1. a. Provide solution to prevent future support by tuning/fixing
2. b. Interact with business owners, product managers, project
managers, engineering managers, executives and cross-functional
engineering
teams
3. 3. Development (10%)
1. a. Develop internal/external tools for the team as well as for
business
2. b. Design, build, implement and maintenance of different tools
3. c. Synthesize technical requirements from business requirements for
the purpose of creating accurate level of effort estimates
4. d. Evangelize technical design with team in diversed locations
5. e. Work with cross-functional team members in distributed locations
6. f. Follow and contribute to company's engineering standards and
best practices
4. 4. Documentation (10%)
1. a. Document new and existing processes, techinical designs
2. b. Lead and maintain documentation effort acorss the team
3. c. Work with cross-functional team members in distributed locations
5. 5. Management (10%)
1. a. Help defining processes and implementing stratgies
2. b. Step up to manage the team in distributed locations, when
required
3. c. Guide diverse located team towards teams as well as company's
goal
4. d. Assist on decision making on conflict situations

*Minimum Qualifications: *
Competencies: Skills, knowledge, & abilities

*Functional Competencies: *
1. Excellent understanding of Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JDBC, Tomcat,
Apache, HTTP, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, Web Services, Axis, Ajax
2. Hands on experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
3. Proven strength in Unix/Linux/Solaris Shell scripting,
4. Excellent debugging skills and knowledgeable to suggest proactive
solutions to avoid present/future supports/issues
5. Knowledgeable about Design Patterns
6. Train and give technical presentation to onsite and offshore CPE team
