*Position: Oracle DBA with Informatica Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6 month contract Rate : $50/hr* * Requirements:* Hands on experience with day to day database administration for several Oracle database instances in UNIX environment including Oracle (9i, 10g and 11g) installs, database creation, database upgrades and data migration. Participated in all phases of Application Development cycle, logical-physical data models and architecting. Implemented 10g OEM for database and host monitoring. Project management for infrastructure projects, along with planning and coordination with various IT groups. Install, configure and administer Informatica ETL platform and IBM Tivoli scheduler. Automate routine tasks using KSH scripts including developing shell scripts to monitoring OS logfiles and file systems. Provided lead support for Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, Database Architecture, Data Modeling, Logical-Physical Design, and backup-recovery of enterprise-wide database applications. Implemented and supported enterprise standards in use, management and deployment of database technology. Implemented measures to enhance database availability and performance. Actively involved in System Administrator tasks for UNIX and Windows systems. Implemented production database standards for Business Continuity through Disaster Recovery planning. Lead collaborative effort with Informatica and Oracle teams on critical and time bound projects. Provide 24x7 DBA support.
