*Job Description Tier 3 Web Engineer*



*1.       **Implement and maintain the services and systems to comply with
MSCOM/MSN Security and MSCOM Standards.*

*2.       **Implement and maintain the monitoring plans agreed upon for the
various services and systems.*

*3.       **Monitor environments supported by the operations team.*

*4.       **Escalation of issues to Tier 3 that are beyond the capability or
scope of Tier 2.*

*5.       **First point of contact for Tier 1 for server, site, application
or tool issue or question.*

*6.       **Tier 2 will work with the MSE and SCSM ticketing system.*

*7.       **Resolving client issues that are within the scope of their
capability and are documented in the application's troubleshooting guide.*

*8.       **On-call to provide troubleshooting, maintenance, deployments,
break fixes, 24 X 7 X 365.*

*9.       **Responsible for updating and maintaining TSGs, SOPs for Tier 1
and Deployment documentation. Telephone and email correspondence with MSCOM
SE groups and customers.*

*10.   **Timely issue resolution and closure according to SOPs and TSGs.*

*11.   **Troubleshooting documents for Tier 2 – Creation and updating of
documents as required.*

*12.   **ITIL knowledge a must*

*13.   **Problem Management and Release management experience*

*14.   **System administration (setups/patching/troubleshooting).*

*15.   **Server rebuilds, experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008.*

*16.   **IIS 7.0 and share point experience required.*

*17.   **SQL server 2003, 2008 experience is required.*

*18.   **Knowledge of MSE, OWB experiences a plus.*
