Location:Sun Prairie, WI Phone Hire! 3+ YEARS OF PROPERTY AND CASUALTY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED *Keys to Requirement (please have candidates elaborate)* 1. *Demonstrable experience as a Senior Developer\Lead in either Java or .Net. Give concrete examples of initiatives they have led.* 2. *Ability to learn new technologies quickly. This will be an integration project with Java, .Net, legacy and Web methods. It will be unlikely that candidates will have all but they must be able to describe environments where they had to work with multiple languages\platforms\tools, etc.* 3. *Demonstrable experience with Agile methodology or Scrum. Have them detail the environments.* Immediate duties and technologies: - FiServ/StoneRiver ClaimStar/ClaimsWorkstation (V4.4.0) is our current claims platform. Familiarity is not required. - Web Methods, Java, .Net, legacy VB, COBOL is a nice-to-have but not a requirement - SQL, DB2, Data Warehousing principles - Production support - need an experienced candidate with open-thinking to propose enhancements to reduce this work - Ideal candidate is familiar with Agile/Scrum - Needs to be a self-starter, dedicated, and high-energy individual - Must be able to adjust direction as business priorities change - This candidate is not an order-taker; needs to be a true, high-performance developer able to lead/mentor/mold a team from within - Architectural planning experience is strongly desired The near future holds work on strategic initiatives including adoption of new policy and ultimately a new claims system. This individual will need to be able to lead one or more technical work streams.
