Position: Lombardi TeamWorks Consultant

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 12 months



Perform unit testing on ticket fixes prior to releasing software into the
development, test, and production environments. Update existing
applications, improve application stability, share best practices, and
implement application enhancements defined outside of the Phase 1
application implementation.

o    System: IBM WebSphere/Lombardi TeamWorks custom develop application

o    System: Alfresco CMS



•    This team member needs to be available 8X5 to perform Service Desk
Level 1 QCS Application work.  Outside normal business hours, or when the
resource is not available (i.e. sick/vacation), other members of the AARP
ITS team will perform these responsibilities.

o    Service Desk Level 1 QCS Application Issues:  Primary triage of QCS
application issues (tickets) assigned by the Help Desk. Will either resolve
the issue within 4 hours, or escalate the ticket to the ASI development
team.

o    Application Server Management:  Manage core application instance
configuration within virtual server environments; work as application SME
with AARP Server Service Teams and DBAs.

o    Change / Configuration Management:  Work with AARP ITS and ASI to
follow the Change Management and Configuration Management standards;
document / check-in all code and configuration changes according to these
standards.

o    QA / Testing:  Perform unit testing and regression testing to validate
data and quality assurance prior to releasing code into the development,
test, and production environments. (QA Testing will be done by AARP ITS QA)

o    Weekly Status Reports:  Provide weekly status reports detailing
contractor project activities completed within the reporting time period,
current status of all ongoing activities, key application risks and/or
issues, proposed resolutions to risks/issues, and planned activities for
next reporting period.
