Position: Java Architect Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 3-6 months This is an urgent need and exclusive. I had a candidate locked in but now he cannot start when we need him to. Project is already behind and this is a key role, so they have to start Monday Dec 27th 2010. Will develop framework for this project (state government) and then will lead a small team in phase 2. *Position: Java Architect* Immediate need for an experienced Java Architect. The first phase of this project includes building the framework, business and technical analysis, and this person will be responsible for architecture and analysis that will relate to the Java component of this project. Requirements: - Proven experience in designing and creating web services between a Mainframe application and a Java client. - Proven experience in understanding business requirements and workflow and translating these requirements into a web user interface / application that will seamlessly fit into the client's Java platform. This web application interface must also integrate seamlessly to a COTS Java-based solution. - Ability to produce quality documentation as output from the Phase 1 analysis effort and to provide sound estimates for the technical effort required in Phase 2. This person must be a self-starter and independent worker who can work with a small team to complete detailed technical analysis. This person must be able to understand a vision and develop the architecture for this project.
