*Location* : Milwaukee, WI

*Duration :*6 months

- Technical Architecture for database: sizing, backups, clone, hardware,
tools
- Less or minimal Database and Middle ware Performance tuning
- Working with Enterprise Infrastructure
- Technology stack related to Oracle EBS (Preferred Rel 12) on database end
- Expertise to Oracle Web Logic and/or IBM Web Sphere Application Middle
ware
- Expertise to Message queues
- Global/Regional business Oracle ERP implementation

*Responsibility:**
JCI Building Efficiency (JCI-BE) Technology Architect Lead role is a key
member to set standards, direction, and procedures that support a reliable
and well performing Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) and IBM J2EE Application
Server environments for global JCI-BE Financial business. This position
requires the application of proven technical, communication, analytical and
problem-solving skills to facilitate technologies in accordance with IT
policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or
equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing technical staff in Oracle
E-Business, IBM Application server and Middleware environments.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in developing, migrating, upgrading,
installing and supporting Oracle Enterprise system and IBM WebSphere
Application servers.
• Number of staff supervised: 4-6
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leads Technology team in Oracle eBS and IBM Application server based web
application areas.
• Experience with Oracle e-Business release 11.5.10 and 12.x.
• Experience and thorough understanding in J2EE, Web 2.0, XML and Web
Services and MQ messaging technologies.
• Understanding of Oracle 11i and R12 AR, AP, GL, PA, OM, Inventory,
Purchasing, and Field Service modules is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple Oracle production, test and development
environments. Understanding of solutions required to manage code and data in
a complex set of projects and production needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; ability to work
collaboratively with business users, IT staff (IT technology architects,
database and system administrators) and various levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to build long-term plans for infrastructure and
platform services. This includes the construction of business case for new
and improved solutions, project structuring and oversight of project
execution.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Architects technology requirements including hardware and system software
for enterprise distributed platforms.
• Manages database architecture for system and performance evaluations,
provide backups and clones and performs patch analysis.
• Provide supervision and guidance to a team of technical analysts.
Experience providing performance assessments and reviews.
• Good analytical and creative problem solving skills with strong customer
service orientation. Understand organization and objectives and provide
technology solutions. Develops architecture standards and maintains IT
procedures. *
