These skills are required for the Cognos resource, and apply to the job description, qualifications and experience below. *Business Intelligence Specialist (Cognos)* Under general supervision, works in a data warehouse environment which includes data analytics design, business intelligence architecture, data translation layer creation and environment administration. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced team members. Reviews data loaded into cubes for accuracy. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of business intelligence solutions which may include reports, dashboards, scorecards, ad hoc queries, metrics analysis and advanced analytics. Troubleshoots and tunes existing business intelligence applications. Conducts research into new business intelligence applications and determines viability for adoption. Leads the establishment of development, appearance and GUI standards.
