Position: SQL Migration Expert Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL Must be a local, onsite resource to Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Not open to travel or telecommuting. SQL 2008 experience listed as essential. Seeking a Lead Technical Consultant who has expertise in developing the approach, along with the planning, coordination, implementation and testing efforts for the migration/upgrade project. This resource will work closely with Application Manager and the Project Manager in laying out the technical roadmap for the migration/upgrade and play a key role in delivering a successful project. Migration Project: Migration and upgrade of the Enterprise Data Warehouse which includes - Migrate and Upgrade the DW and ODS databases from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 version. Client is looking for a migration people who have an experience into: SQL Migration: 2000- 2008 Business Objects Migration: XI R2 – XI R3 Informatica Migration: 8.6.0-8.6.1 · ETL platform (Informatica 8.6.0) to version 8.6.1, the OLAP environment from Microsoft Analysis services 2000 to Analysis Services 2008, the Business Objects platform from XI R2 to version XI R3. REQ: · Must have performed Full-Life cycle implementation of migrating Data Warehouses and ETL tools such as Informatica to version 8.6.1., database designs, ETL, 1-2 yrs. of strong SQL Server 2008 experience required. · Knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehousing, OLAP tools and techniques required.
