Candidates can be from India or from the US who can go to India, expenses of travel and accommodation would be taken care by Client. *Start : ASAP* * Location : Noida, India* * Duration : 3-4 months.* We are looking for Sr Assoc Tech who has good technical design experience - creating design documents, creating high level design etc. *Please find below some more details:* - Strong experience mainly in Java/JEE - Good experience designing relatively complex Web based applications. - Comfortable with Design Patterns, Class Design using UML, Database design using ERDs - Experience of Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, Spring IOC, and Hibernate. - Experience of Websphere App Server and Oracle DB. - Experience of SOAP based web services and related things such as WSDL etc. - Ability to communicate fluently - Good if has had recognitions and accolades from client *Required skills and Responsibilities:* - Candidates need to have a good design experience on reasonably large projects over a relatively long period of time. - They should have design leadership experience and conceptual clarity apart from a good knowledge of technology. - One way to test this would be to find out how comfortable the candidate is with design patterns (GoF, MVC etc.) and how clearly he can explain them. - Another way would be to see how comfortable they are with UML (i.e. not only class diagrams but the other diagrams as well) and ERDs. - Also ask them how long have they been on designer roles and what was the size/complexity of the modules they have been responsible for.
