. Oracle installations and Upgrades
. Apply patches to databases
. Support Production, Development and Test Databases
. Support database changes and maintenance including week end support
. Help analyzing schema design and work with architecture team
. Design BCM / Failover solutions for Tier 1 databases and help implement
controlled mechanism for failover using Autosys
. UNIX scripting; PL/SQL scripting
. Database performance analysis and tuning of SQL, AWR reports, Advisors
. RMAN Backup / Recovery / Physical standby database
. Monitoring set up using OEM GRID
. Help and guide developers with Oracle issues
Operating Systems: UNIX - Sun Solaris, DOS, Windows
Database/ Softwares: Oracle 10g/ 9/ 8i/ 8/ 7.x , SQL server 7 /2000, Grid,
DataGuard, RMAN, TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Tibco, SQL*Loader, data pump.
