Title: Data Modeler (3 positions) Client: Capital One Contract Length: 1 to 2 years Location: Richmond, VA Rate Range: $50.00 corp to corp Candidates selected for this opportunity will need to meet our customer’s standard Credit Criteria. I will provide details on the credit guidelines for this customer if interested in moving forward. Manager's Request: IMMEDIATE need for 3 Data Modelers! He is very flexible in terms of skill set. He has set aside times to interview on Friday. What he needs: · 3 Data Modelers to start on May 31st · Erwin experience is a must · Must have good communication skills · Ability to write good definitions · Strong problem solving skills · Logical modeling, not dimensional modeling (nice to have) · Relational Modeling · Teradata is a plus, definitely not required though · At least 1 yr contract, should go 2 yrs · He alone will be conducting interviews and making hiring decision Responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution. Data Modeler: Develops the Enterprise Logical Data Model (LDM). Facilitates JAD sessions to determine data rules, and holds LDM Reviews with Data SMEs. Applies Capital One Data Naming Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and documents data model translation decisions.
