Onsite Project Manager/BA for BI Applications
*Relevant Experience (Yrs) *
:
Overall 7-10 Years of IT experience with last 2 to 4 years on Project
management.
Experience doing project management for BI application development
*Necessary Skills *
:
- Manage all aspects of the project plan
- Track project deliveries, milestones and dependencies using MS project
- Weekly status updates with clients and IT management
- Conduct technical review meetings
- Escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors. Provide
mitigation approach
- Ensure proper execution of change management control
- Gather business requirements, functional requirements, traceability
matrix and communication plan
- Support data analysis
- Should be able to manage application development projects following
waterfall model
- Experience in customer facing roles like Project lead, onsite
co-ordinator
- Should be able conduct requirement gathering sessions and do data
analysis
- Need to have excellent oral and written communication skills (including
English conversation skills)
- Project scheduling using MS Project plan and work allocation
- Scope Management , Change management and Risk Management
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Very Proactive and Result Oriented
*Desired Skills*
- Aware of Cognos Report and Dataware house concepts
- Should have done requirement gathering for BI Applications consiting
- PMP or ITILv3 Foundations certified
*Roles & Responsibilities*
:
- Project initiation activities like
- Preparing project schedule ,
- Defining roles and responsibilities
- Preparing Communication plan and defining escalation path
- Gather business requirements, functional requirements, traceability
matrix and communication plan
- Support data analysis
- Co-ordinate with Customer IT team, TCS development team, TCS QA team
and other stakeholders for project activities
- Status reporting to Business and IT managers of Publicis and also to
TCS team
- Ensure proper execution of change management control Ensuring
compliance to customer’s processes and TCS processes

- Report progress/challenges to Account Manager or customer
