The Senior Developer will work with EMR and Practice Management Systems commonly used in the Oncology arena. Developer must be a team-player and be able to provide development guidance for building solution and recommend strategies to optimize applications for improved performance. The Senior developer role will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers in best practices and standards. Other requirements include, but are not limited to, creating diagrams, participating in design meetings and providing code reviews for other developers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Candidate must possess a minimum 5-7 years of .Net software development (including Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server). Includes extensive ASP.Net experience and/or Winforms, SQL Server development, web services development. 2. Deep knowledge of C# programming language and .Net programming environment. Develops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary web applications. 3. Experience with developing and deploying web-based applications in a distributed architecture. 4. Experience with design and development of Service Oriented Architectures. Includes experience with web services, WCF. 5. Deep knowledge of object-oriented and event driven programming. 6. Deep understanding of Object-oriented design patterns, as well as enterprise architecture design patterns, and their application. 7. Experience with .Net 3.5 required. 8. Candidates must be detail- oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. Solid knowledge and experience of full SDLC.
