This role is centered around the implementation of Project Accounting in 11i. The position will require the development of custom solutions/extension Oracle Applications 11.5.1.0.2 environment (10g RDBMS). In addition to developing, the candidate will need to roll into a QA Analyst roll once development is complete. Must-haves Perform scheduled maintenance and apply patches/updates as required: Troubleshoot systems and proprietary application related issues Perform code promotion between environments, while ensuring the integrity of the code base and the separate environments Database backup/restore including copying databases from production to test severs Day to day monitoring of SQL environment, including install, patching and upgrades when necessary Familiarity with SQL Server Profiler, and Windows Performance Monitor 24x7 troubleshooting on a weekly rotation basis Strong troubleshooting skills, able to write scripts using Perl, PHP, and/or other scripting language. Experience with Linux and/or networking is a plus. In addition to the systems engineering role, we are looking for someone with some background in MS-SQL. That experience would include: 1+ years hands on experience with maintaining SQL databases in an Enterprise type environment Windows Server admin/engineering SQL Server replication SSRS support and report deployment SSIS package deployment SQL Server cluster support This candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills, able to speak to external customers when necessary, and very energetic in a fast paced environment, able to multi task and change priorities when necessary.
