Sr. QA Software Testers with International and ERP Experience · We are looking for two strong QA resources to join our project team working on the new implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for Retail application for our international locations. · These resources will need to have strong demonstrated experience testing supply chain and/or financials on enterprise applications such as AX, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Lawson, etc. · Additionally, these resources will need to have strong SQL query experience with MS SQL Server 2008. · Retail industry experience is desirable but not required. · Experience testing interfaces is a must, as our ERP implementation will include many interfaces to other systems, both internally and externally to vendor applications. · Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 8 years experience, several of which involved large complex enterprise applications. · Experience testing applications designed to be utilized in countries outside the US is a plus. · The ability to read/write/speak in Spanish to support our implementation to Mexico is a plus. · Self-direction, ability to improvise and change directions quickly is critical. The candidate will have many other responsibilities typical to a strong QA professional from being involved in solutions for problems; to designing a test strategy and approach; to actual test execution and defect resolution. I do not have a solid bill rate in mind, as I’m looking for heavy hitters for these roles, but I’m not going to get crazy, either. I’m willing to look at anyone and negotiate, depending on what the candidate has to offer. These initial two resources are critical to the success of this project. They must be committed and willing to engage for a year (or more) and play a pivotal leadership role on this team. No wallflowers, please. Any potential automation plans will be handled separately, it is not desirable for these two positions to have too much of their career focused on automating applications instead of figuring out how best to test them and interact with business resources to coordinate testing efforts. As with any new major ERP implementation, our business users are heavily engaged in the success of this project, and it is very important my resources have solid communication skills and are capable of interacting with any level of the organization. Supply chain experience is a must. Financials experience is a must.
