Our client is looking to fill a slot for a Quality Assurance Analyst to
assist with the functional verification and testing of a critical,
operation-wide information system. Work with program areas subject matter
experts and vendor to develop and document test plans and test scripts based
on the business requirements and specifications. Assist program areas
subject matter experts define and execute the testing process, from
requirements validation through initial functional verification of
development iterations and user acceptance testing. Documents and track
errors and problems. Communicate errors to project team and vendor for
resolution. Assist with project elated activities as requested including
testing and analyzing results.

Application verification and testing analyst with 5+ years of experience in
testing and end-user support, the contractor needs to be knowledgeable about
testing and quality assurances processes for web-based distributed systems.
Need to be well-versed in business analysis, logical workflows, iterative
development testing processes, test plan and test case preparation including
identifying scenarios to test application. Relies on experience, judgment,
and information gained from the program and subject matter experts to plan
and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is
required. Good team player with proven communication skills with co-workers
and project management. Knowledge of web-based systems that contains public
customer service, transaction processing, sensitive data, statistical
reporting, critical uptime requirements and a large stakeholder base is a
plus.
