The Senior PM works on-site daily with the other work plan PMs and senior Team Leads for Conversion and Daily Refresh in order to execute and monitor / control the associated developed Microsoft Project work plans. Expertise in Microsoft Project is required with particular emphasis on resource loading / analysis, critical path and milestone linking to other project plans. This senior PM for Conversion and Daily Refresh must be a seasoned professional who possesses a compressive knowledge of management and project support concepts, practices, and procedures. Work involves considerable coordination / interfacing in a fast paced environment with the client and operations staff, and therefore the Senior PM must have exceptional interpersonal, collaborative and team-building skills. Responsibilities include (with respect to the Conversion and Daily Refresh Work Plans) managing risks, issues, action items and plan assumptions; conducts / compiles / makes special analyses, reports and presentations of performance forecasts, etc., as required; and facilitates / prepares the slipping tasks, 90-day task tracking, milestones completed / late, tasks completed, tasks scheduled next 3 weeks and other tracking / trending reports. This is a Senior Project Management / Leadership position for the Data Conversion and Daily Refresh work plans of the Vision Integration Platform (VIP) project. The Vision Integration Platform (VIP) System is a * java-based* development that includes 1.2 million lines of code, 580 windows, 133 interfaces, 174 batches, 186 reports, 239 alerts, 280 notices, 25,000 test scripts, and 1 terabyte of source data. VIP is scheduled for roll-out Statewide by August 2013. The Data Conversion and Daily Refresh work plans are 2 of the 8 work plans that constitute the VIP Master Integrated Schedule. The VIP project is converting 18 years of eligibility case management data from 5 legacy systems / databases (mainly IBM mainframe) to an *Oracle environment* via an Informatica tool set. The Senior PM works on-site daily with the other work plan PM's and Senior ACS Functional Team Leads for Conversion and Daily Refresh in order to execute and monitor / control the associated developed Microsoft Project work plans. *Expertise in Microsoft Project is preferred* (Client uses Microsoft Project Enterprise Server) with particular emphasis on resource loading / analysis, critical path and milestone linking to other project work plans. This Senior PM for Conversion / Daily Refresh must be a seasoned professional who possesses a comprehensive knowledge of management and project support concepts, practices, and procedures.
