Our Columbus based client is looking for several Quality Analyst/Testers for their Windows 7 Upgrade. Due to a large number of applications to validate with the Windows 7 operating system they need several resources. These people will be testing the OS upgrade and validating installation and patching of Windows 7. Writing and executing test cases based on Requirements. Testing applications on workstations. Applcations will be tested on laptops, desktops, and tablets. Defect Tracking and Reporting. Analyze, write, and report on defects. · Client/Server application testing · Web application testing experience using IE8 · Testing Windows OS Upgrade · SQL Experience (Person may need to query database for result sets) ****They need to test around 400 Applications including Access Databases, Office 2010, and various Web & Client/Server applications. This person has to have a solid “Testing” background and be “Investigative” to problem solve. They need to gather requirements for the applications quickly and be able to test quickly.
