Data Warehouse ETL / BI developer is responsible for ETL development in Microsoft SQL Server environment, Informatica, and all aspects of data warehouse BI reporting. The prospect is also required to have extensive BI skills using Cognos. • Work as part of a team to deliver federated dimensional model for growing online consumer subscription service. • Play key role in adding data to the Data Warehouse through development of source to targets maps and transformation rules. • Participate in requirement definition, solution development and implementation phases of data warehouse and reporting projects. • ETL, FM, cube, and report development. • Create and maintain ETL specifications and process documentation to produce the required data deliverables (data profiling, source to target maps, ETL flows). • Assist in definition of logical and physical data models B2C ecommerce business. • Configure and tune ETL infrastructure to optimize the data warehousing architecture • Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues. • Champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency. • Senior EDW ETL resource with expertise in dimensional modeling concepts and methodologies. • Extensive experience with backend SQL Server – SSIS, SQL queries and stored procedures development required. Informatica experience a plus. • Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (preferably Cognos) • Experience with database design & modeling.
