*Urgent Req – “Sr Network Test Engineer” in Redmond WA for 6+ Months Contract* *Job Description: * Candidate must have an intimate knowledge of the following platforms: Cisco, Juniper, F5, Citrix/Netscaler, Blade, Arista, Tipping Point and Broadcom hardware platforms. Global Networking Services (GNS) is seeking two experienced, self-motivated Senior Network Test Engineers with extensive experience building test plans, executing the test cases, evaluating the results while driving issues to resolution. Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to drive test cycles from beginning to completion, as well as develop, execute and document network testing procedures involving IP Networks at Layer 2 to Layer 7. In addition to running manual test cases this Engineer will have demonstrated skills to automate test cases. Candidates must be capable of identifying root cause of complex networking problems and suggest solutions to the software and hardware development teams. High on the list of skills the candidate must possess is the ability to interpret Network architectures, and build creative tests to interrogate these architectures. · *Minimum 5 years Lab networking experience.* · *Deep understanding of Networking technologies 5+CCIE (or equivalent)* · Ability to solve problems programmatically with: *TCL, Perl, C#, C++.* · Execution and Documentation of test plans required (including: test case development and documentation of pass/fail criteria). · Understanding of Lab test methodologies and test equipment (*Spirent, IXIA*). · Experience testing protocol scalability in large network environments. · Must have Intimate knowledge of these protocols: *IS-IS, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, MPLS (RSVP-TE), IPSEC, HSRP, Multicast, STP, MSTP, ACL, Routing Policies, Ether Channel, VLANs and SVI.* · Deep understanding of *SSL Termination, Compression, WANOP, in addition to Layer 4/7 Load Balancing features on the F5 and Citrix platforms.* · Proven experience with *Cisco, Juniper, F5 Networks, Citrix, Foundry, Tipping Point, Broadcom, Arista and Blade Hardware.* · Proven ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
