*Please send us resume to : [email protected]* * * Position : *Java Developer* Location : *Washington, DC* Length : *4+Months* Rate : *$50/hr on C2C Base* *Prefer Local to DC,* *Must F2F Interview in Client Location * *SCOPE OF WORK:* The Software Developer will support all phases of the software development life cycle, and work as a member of the agile software development team to design, code, debug and maintain business software. *The tasks may include but are not limited to:* • Work as a member of an agile development team, effectively participate in planning, task estimates, sequencing, task assignments and retrospective reviews; • Develop, test and debug software applications or components; • Document and maintain application code; • Participate in peer code and design reviews; • Follow established software development standards, procedures, and industry best practices; • Other tasks as assigned by USAC management. *REQUIRED SKILL-SET AND EXPERIENCE:* The contractor will possess a minimum of 5 years of software development experience, and must be able to demonstrate the following: • Demonstrated proficiency in Java, JEE, EJB3 or newer, Hibernate 3 or newer, JMS, JSF, and experience with JBoss 5 or newer application server; • Experience in development of multi-tier web applications; • Experience with Oracle 10g or newer database server, and expert knowledge of RDBMS concepts; • Proven knowledge of Java design patterns; • Experience working as a member of an agile (Scrum or similar) software development team; • Experience with and thorough understanding of software testing and debugging activities; • Knowledge of scripting languages, networking, system engineering and security concepts; • Good team attitude and ability to cooperate with other team members, as needed.
