JD- Short Description: The Administrative Office of the Courts seeks a Conversion Developer/Analyst to provide enhancements for their current Court Management System. Local Candidates are preferred. Complete Description: This position will be responsible for analyzing the court system legacy data and developing conversion programs to migrate the data to the State Case Management System. This position will work as part of a team of PM, BAs, and Programmers. This position will require excellent oral and written communications skills to work with analysts and other team members to develop data mapping and design documents. •Test enhancement and development programs. •Participate in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. •Design applications to functional and technical programming standards •Work with Functional Architects to gather and interpret user requirements into design specifications •Execute all required process steps. •Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. •Create and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers. •Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. •Research problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistance. •Generally aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate. •Follow quality standards. •Support installation of application releases into production as directed. •Communicate accurate and useful status updates. •Ability to work in a team environment •Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision of Team Lead. •Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner. •Complete assigned tasks. •Strong communication skills; both written and spoken Skills Required •Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude. •Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment •Self-management skills, particularly in respect to prioritization and execution. •Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Unix Scripting Experience is a plus. •Python •SQL Server •Experience with XML •Possess a high level of respect for deadlines. • Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools a plus Skills: Skills Required/Desired Amount of Experience Oracle Required 3 Years SQL Required 5 Years PL/SQL Required 3 Years SQL Server Required 1 Years Python Required 3 Years Any Flavor of Unix Required 2 Years Excellent Communication Skills Required 20 Years ETL Highly Desired Data Conversion Experience Highly Desired Any Flavor of Unix Required Questions Question 1: Describe/Outline the process for converting data from a SQL Server database to an Oracle database. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
