Platforms include, but are not limited to, Windows/NT. Examples of the kinds of assistance to be provided include, but are not limited to: Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting new systems, add-ons or modifications to existing applications and/or architecture across various PC computing platforms (e.g., J2EE, SQL, Exchange, and Access) Providing installation, testing, auditing, integration, and support for operating systems, applications programming, and database systems Database administration and support (managing physical structure, storage and security) Developing system and technical documentation Administering systems including in, but not limited to, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and Blackberry Enterprise Server. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. The consultant will be asked to perform administrative functions on servers and network hardware including Blackberry Enterprise Servers. Systems Management consultant will be required to have knowledge of both Microsoft Server operating systems as well as VM Ware. These consultants will work with SQL configurations in the virtual environment as well as building out additional Virtual Servers. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: System Management consultants must have experience in Microsoft Server Operating Systems as well as Blackberry Enterprise Sever experience. Applicants should also have experience administering a SQL server infrastructure. Applicant will not be required to work as a DBA but rather support the infrastructure behind the SQL databases.
