*Required skills:*

· Education, training and/or relevant computing experience
equivalent to completion of BS qualifications or progress towards BS
qualifications and relevant experience; or completion of a BS degree in
conjunction with relevant experience.
· MCP certification required, MCSA, MCSE or MCDBA preferred.
- *5 or more years* of Microsoft SQL Server Administration experience.
Skills should include most, if not all of the following: Database Backups,
Database Restores, ODBC settings, Security management, Index maintenance,
SQL Server Agent and Job maintenance, Data Transformation Services.
- *3 or more years* of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or more than one year
of Windows 2008. Skills should include: Basic OS administration,
Performance trouble-shooting, Name Resolution, Basic networking skills,
Managing permissions, Remote Desktop/Terminal Services.
- *3 or more years* of experience with T-SQL and SQL Server Client Tools
(Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler) desired. Skills should
include: Basic SQL statements and data manipulation, Stored Procedures,
Relational Database Theory.
- *1 year of* SQL Replication, including experience with 3rd party
application using replication or create replication process with multiple
servers
- Strong skill set in setting up a data warehouse using SQL Server
Integration Services (SSIS) or other tools.
· Basic level knowledge of programming languages (Visual Basic,
VB.Net, C#.Net, C++, etc.) is desired.
· Candidate must have experience in both Logical Design and
Physical Design and relational/analysis Database experience.
· Worked in environment with 500 or more users.
· Basic knowledge of XML result sets
· Understanding and worked with virtual environments.
· Demonstrated ability in the development of project schedules,
project coordination, resource allocation, and project monitoring and
reporting.
· Demonstrated experience in working to agreed project timeframes
and ensuring the quality of work performed within a team environment.
· Flexibility and a professional approach in managing competing
priorities and balancing complex work requirements.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge, experience and understanding
of the issues involved in the implementation, support, and management of
large, high-availability database systems
