QA Manhattan (WMOS)

Location: Retail Distribution Center in Asheville, North Carolina

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 9 - 12 months





Project: Manhattan (WMOS) Implementation  



Experience: 3 -5 years testing across all Strategic QA Planning & Testing 
Phases, testing Warehouse Supply Chain Management applications functionality & 
cross-functional integration, testing key modules in the Manhattan (WMOS) 
Product Suite, testing interfaces to and from Material Handling Equipment (MHE) 
   



Job Description:

·         Thoroughly test the selected modules of the Manhattan (WMOS) Product 
Suite, Manhattan delivered customizations – validating business application 
functionality and cross-functional integration requirements

·         Thoroughly test reports and special forms delivered by Manhattan or 
non-Manhattan Development Teams – validating business application functionality 
and cross-functional integration requirements

·         Thoroughly test the Distribution Center (DC) interfaces to and from 
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – sortation equipment, two (2) Put-to-Light 
Systems – radio frequency devices, printers – all equipment to interfacing with 
Manhattan

·         Thoroughly test the J. Crew Business Configuration of the Manhattan 
(WMOS) Product Suite 

·         Responsible for identifying and documenting test scenarios, data 
requirements, test schedules for all Planning and Testing Phases of QA – Smoke 
Test, Use Cases, Scenarios, Integration, E2E, Regression Tests  

·         Closely coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with 
Business execution of DITL

·         Ensuring all test cases, scenarios, and scripts have been written and 
executed with expected results and documenting all test conditions have been 
covered through each test scenario

·         Demonstrate a high level of attention to details; strong planning and 
prioritization skills  

·         Communicate the final results of all tests; escalating observed 
anomalies to management and technical team for timely resolution

·         Following J. Crew QA Standards for documenting QA Process Documents 
and QA JCDM execution documents

·         Exercise strong ownership, commitment, time management, 
communication, coordination, interpersonal skills; developing trusted and 
productive relationships with the member of the Manhattan Implementation Team

·         Able to work independently and handle unplanned activities

·         Able to gain knowledge on the application within a short time and 
understand project dynamics



Mandatory Technical Skills:

·         Knowledgeable of key modules in Manhattan (WMOS) Product Suite

·         Some experience testing Manhattan’s - Distributed Order Management 
(DOM)  

·         2 or more years QA application testing experience in a Warehouse 
Distribution Center  

·         Strong experience in all Planning and Testing Phases of Quality 
Assurance

·         Extensive experience in test cross-functional interfaces

·         Experience testing interfaces to and from Material Handling Equipment 
(MHE)   



Strong cross-functional integration testing experience



Optional Technical Skills:

·         Experience with WMOS 2011, DOM 2011, LM 2011, SCI 2011 

·         Experience with SAP-R3, SAP PI, DCM, e-commerce 

·         Resources will not necessarily coordinate offshore resources but 
prior experience with that model would be a plus

·         Prior experience using JIRA for defect management
