Send the resume at [email protected] Java Software development engineer test 6-9+ month contract Seattle, WA Project Overview • 2-5 years java development and OO skills in a Unix environment • Experience with Spring framework • Experience with Tomcat application server, including deployment and tuning (web-based) • Experience with Oracle DBMS and SQL • Experience with Maven • Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus, particularly schema design and java interaction via JDBC. Deployment, tuning, operations, and maintenance of PostgreSQL is a definite plus. Responsibilities • Work with developers to identify test cases and document them. • Assist in data migration testing, deployment and validation operations • Write or update junit / integration testing as needed Required Skills • 2-5 years’ experience in a Java environment • Unix Logs • SQL (some MySQL) • Web testing • Testing object oriented software • Bug Testing/Smoke Tests • JUnit testing • Scrum/Agile Environment • Experience with Oracle DBMS and SQL • Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
