Location - Atlanta,GA Local preferred – Skype ok- Will hire Good com skills Required Skills: · 5 plus years software development experience · Strong experience developing application with Web technologies including HTML JavaScript, JSP, Servlets and web services · Experience with HTML5 JavaScript, JQuery, Backbone.js, Require.js or other similar web technologies or frameworks. · Ability to understand and review and enhance code written by others. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a passion for writing elegant, well designed software · Self-starter who can work effectively independently as well as in cross functional team environments We are looking for someone who writes javasript applications and not someone who primarily works with HTML and CSS or who writes a little javascript to introduce mainly client side behavior. We are looking for someone who constructs non-trivial javascript applications that make heavy use of server APIs to access and update data via AJAX. In particular we make heavy use of the Backbone.js framework which layers application structuring capabilities and abstractions on top of JQuery to provide a programming environment to construct large Javascript applications. We also make use of a number of other Javascript frameworks and experience with these types of frameworks is a good indication that the candidate has the background we are seeking.
