*Title: Senior Network Engineer* *Location: **This position is based in Mountain View, CA, but will require 50% of travel.* *Duration: 6 Months Contract. * *Summary* Our Network Engineering and Operations (NetOps) Team is looking for an experienced network engineer. He/She will be part of a dynamic team to implement and support the company's internal network infrastructure on a 24x7 basis. The role will require both hands-on technical supports as well as travel for network deployment at remote offices. * * * * *Responsibilities/Duties:* Utilize extensive network knowledge and skills to provide network support for a rapidly growing company. Ability to work on-call and respond to production issues on a 24x7 basis. Deploy networks for the headquarter expansions. Willingness to travel 50% of the time for new remote offices deployments Assist in configuring networks for a new corporate-wide IP telephony and reliable videoconferencing solution. Work closely with the Production NetOps team to ensure existing standards, policies, and conventions are carefully followed. *Experiences/Skills:* 5+ years of experience in an enterprise network environment. Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco equipment, especially in routers, switches, and ASA firewall. Cisco Professional Certification *(CCNP or CCDP, CCIP)* Thorough knowledge of IP networking principles Good understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, VRRP, HSRP, and SNMP. Demonstrated, hands-on experience developing and deploying a fully-meshed MPLS network Robust experience with IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, etc. IPv6 knowledge is a plus. Strong wireless LAN experience in protocols and authentication mechanisms (802.1x, WPA/WPA2, PEAP). Aruba wireless systems experience is a plus. Strong experience with firewalls, router ACLs, IPSec VPNs, RADIUS, and TACACS Solid experiencing implementing *VoIP solutions* utilizing *QoS, SIP and MPLS* Well versed with unified communications concepts and technologies.
