Role: Java J2EE Architect Duration: 6 + Months Location: Appleton, WI Position Type: Contract Requirement 1. Technically, We need knowledge of the following tools: J2EE - Java 6, WebSphere, Hibernate, and Spring (It would be helpful to add JQuery, YUI, AJAX and Struts) Some knowledge of ETL tooling (especially, Informatica) would be good.Security tools knowledge - Authentication/Authorization through proxy security, and J2EE integration through JAAS. Testing tools, such as JUnit, Performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner would be helpful. 2. Architectural and Design pattern knowledge is helpful(Gang of four patterns and Core J2EE Patterns) 3. Development Methodology Knowledge (Waterfall for sure, and some Agile, specifically scrum). 4. Architecture methodology knowledge would help - Quality attribute analysis, etc. (Specific knowledge of an Architecture Methodology such as SEI's, Togaf, Zachman, etc. would be a nice-to-have) 5. Also helpful would be an understanding of ETL processing and scheduling, Infrastructure, and database modeling.
