*Job Title: Java Developer (UI/Mobile) Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6-12 Months Contract Start: ASAP Rate: $55/hr on C-C* **** Client REQUIRES an IN-PERSON FINAL INTERVIEW **** *Job Description:* The developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing framework as well as performing upgrades. The developer is expected to develop in both Java, Swing, ExtJS and/or Sencha Touch, for both the UI and the Service layer. A successful candidate must have both client and server hands-on experience. *Project 1:* Portfolio Construction is a Swing/J2EE Portfolio Management tool, used internally by our Portfolio Managers to look at their holdings, view research, analytical data, risk information, and real-time data. *Project 2:* The Mobile Platform is an HTML5 based mobile application written using Sencha Touch. *Position Requirements:* Senior Java developer with at least 6 years hands-on experience. At least 2 years experience building UI applications using Sencha EXT JS, JQuery or Sencha Touch. Solid knowledge of javascript and css3. Prior experience working on enterprise financial applications is a plus. Candidate must have a solid understanding of core Java technologies. Candidate must have strong working experience with J2EE technologies. Needs to be able to produce code in a fast pace environment. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (Oracle preferred).
