TITLE: Business Systems Analyst - BI & Performance Management SKILLS: Business Intelligence project experience, business process flow/use case analysis DESCRIPTION: RFQ 1100 DPA 13-90 REBID - The selected BSA is expected to take a leading role in the gathering & documentation of requirements, in the analysis of existing business process and in the identification of process issues and improvements. The position will report to the AE Information Technology PMO Business Systems Analyst Supervisor. The selected individual will work on a project to implement an Enterprise Business Intelligence platform for Austin Energy. We are also implementing a new Enterprise Data Warehouse from the ground up, which will serve as the foundation for the Business Intelligence solution. The selected BSA will work to define requirements for reports, dashboards, and other data visualization capabilities. Services to be performed may include, but not be limited to, the following: Investigate and analyze requirements for reports, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence capabilities, while understanding the business processes and requirements that are supported by the systems. This will include conducting an impact analysis of change of the business areas, and the able to recommend appropriate alternatives/solutions. Determine viable solutions for Business intelligence needs. Facilitate and functions as a liaison between business and technical teams in analyzing and assessing solutions to meet business & users need through the requirements. Skills, abilities, and experience will include, but are not limited to, the following: Experience with analysis, problem solving , critical thinking, solution proposal and decision making along with a customer focus, results orientation, and business sense Knowledge of organizing, planning, and prioritizing work. Skills in teamwork, communication, innovation, adaptability , and decision making, along with a customer focus, result orientation , and business sense.
