Position : *ClearCase Configuration Management Specialist* Location : *Washington, DC* Duration :* 6 months* *Job Description:* The Client is looking for an experienced ClearCase Administrator/Build Specialist to manage ClearCase and support system development. This individual must have strong analytical and communications skills and experience managing the IBM ClearCase product versions 7.x or above *Duties and Responsibilities:* • Application setup in ClearCase (UCM and Base) for version management • Administration of the ClearCase environment • Support development of build scripts for J2EE and .NET applications • Maintain version management, code promotion, baseline management and build management processes and their documentation • Monitor license usage and manage user accounts • Monitor compliance with CM policies • Support developers and other ClearCase users • Troubleshoot problems with ClearCase and liaison with the product vendor as needed • Streams creation, delivery, baselining and merge activities • Monitor the system for performance, capacity, availability and scalability • Ensure currency of the ClearCase environment as prescribed by the vendor • Support version management of application artifacts, Database code (SQL) • Configuration status accounting and audits • Expand the ClearCase environment to suit organization needs and offshore development • Guide Development Teams in Configuration Management Best Practices *Knowledge and Skills Required:* • Minimum 3 years experience with ClearCase (7,x or higher) in a windows environment • Expertise in both UCM and base ClearCase with GUI and command line • Proficient in Perl and ANT scripting • Proficient with dos *.bat files • Experience supporting systems development using ClearCase using the thick Client and WebCC • Experience in compiling/building J2EE and .NET applications using external libraries and debug issues • Experience in monitoring ClearCase environment and cleaning up as needed • Ability to assist in bringing new projects into ClearCase by importing files, working with development team to ensure well structured file layout • Expertise in baseline management and reporting differences • Experienced in ClearCase / UCM administration such as activity delivery, baseline and stream creation, and post delivery activities. • Experience in upgrading and migrating ClearCase environments *Desired Skills:* Ø Setup of ClearCase for UNIX Ø Setup of ClearCase multi-site across Windows and Unix Ø Good understanding of Business Service Management and related technologies *Mandatory Skills :* ClearCase (7,x or higher) in a windows environment. * * *Reagan !!* *Sricom, INC* *[email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
