[WDF is a set of Microsoft tools that aid in the creation of device drivers for Windows 2000 and later versions of Windows]. • Prior experience debugging of Windows kernel mode is a must, as is the understanding Windows internals. • OS internal experience (any) Win 2000/XP / 7 / 8, WinNT etc. • Other skills (any) : Kernel Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) Strong fundamentals in Windows 7/8 Kernel DDK Position#2 Title: Software Engineer (Windows Driver Triaging / Validation) Status: Urgent Industry: Consumer Electronics Levels: Jr / Intermediate / Senior Type: Contract ~ 6 to 12 months+, extendable No of positions: 15+ Locations (deployment option): Santa Clara, CA / Redmond, WA Buy rate: US$ Market The key qualifying criteria is at least ~ 3 to 5 years of Windows driver triaging/ validation experience on x86 platform for Windows 7 and/or 8 using WinDbg (Windows Debugger, this is a must). Good understanding of Windows KMDF (kernel mode driver framework) Desirables (any): • Experience with Windows Driver Kit (WDK) 8 • Prior experience with protocol simulators for, e.g. – Bluetooth interoperability, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Sensors. • Good understanding of the ARM architecture will be a definite edge. • Good understanding / exposure to technologies - GSM / CDMA / UMTS / EVDO / HSPA / LTE Please submit resume with Hourly Rate .
