Performance Engineer Location: McLean, VA (preferred) or Norfolk, VA Duration : Long Term *Requirements:** ** 5+ years of performance testing experience in a high-tech environment. * Extensive administration / testing experience using HP Performance Center 11.x. * Experience utilizing Load Runner. * Must have basic knowledge of C / C++ / J2EE programming or Perl scripting for Unix or Linux operating systems in order to write scripts. Advanced programming skills for manipulating scripts is a strong plus. * Experience with a monitoring tool ( Splunk is preferred ). * The right blend of technical and business analysis skills to ensure successful implementations. * Understanding of various front end application architectures and the tier to tier communications. * Measurement points of various systems and metrics for analysis of issues and risk. * Thorough understanding of distributed systems, Internet principles and statistical data analysis. * Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment that could require some long hours. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field. -- *Thanks,* *Naresh Kumar .
