Title : *System Engineer (UNIX Admin)* Location : *Portland, OR* Duration : *6 Months* Detailed JD for support engineers as below The successful candidate will have more than 6 years of the experience in the IT support for SW development and have the following skills: - Advanced knowledge of UNIX system administration on Linux and one or more platforms (AIX, HPUX, Solaris) - Knowledge of Linux systems administration - Knowledge of Web server software tools such as Apache Tomcat*, Java J2EE*, Microsoft IIS*, - Knowledge of MS Windows Server* systems administration - MS SQL Server* administration - Demonstrated programming experience in UNIX shell, Perl and Visual Basic - Clearly demonstrated technical documentation skills (requirements, test plans, procedures) - Clearly demonstrated communication skills - Working knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure (TCP/IP, client/server architectures) - Working knowledge of server virtualization In addition to the above, have 3 or more of the following: -Experience as an active user or administrator of any of the SW design tools above -Programming experience in Python -Operational knowledge of Intel manageability and monitoring architectures and tools -Experience with Agile methodology and tools -Operational knowledge of MS SQ Server Integration Services* or/and MS SQL Reporting Services* Thanks !!
