Client: *QlikView Developer and Analyst* Duration: *6 Months+* Location : *Grand Rapids, MI* The Qlikview senior software developer will work on customer facing reporting solutions and other internal business analysis and analytical applications in multi-database platform environment. The candidate should have strong Technical expertise skills in QlikView architecture and building qvd's and qvw's. This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers in capturing report requirements and manage the delivery of the reports. Responsibilities / Duties Gather customer business and technical requirements and write high-quality technical documents Analyze existing complex systems to understand and document data elements, relationships, data flow, dependencies and related interfaces Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in QlikView Strong knowledge on QlikView architecture and building qvd's and qvw's applying business rules and data validations Extensive experience in creating QlikView apps for dashboards, reporting and scorecards Perform comprehensive BI and DWH systems evaluations and perform system testing Experience in Qlikview clustered environment and its upgrade process Manage multiple task, status reporting Qualifications / Skills Required BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering with demonstrated academic excellence Thorough understanding of core Business Intelligence and Reporting principles and methodologies. 4+ years’ experience developing BI and reporting solutions 4+ years of demonstrated experience in building dashboards 4+ years of experience in integrating data from enterprise applications Experience using javascript Exceptional SQL writing skills including Oracle PL/SQL and Stored Procedures Experience in Scrum development techniques a plus as is working in a team environment where attention to detail is expected.
