*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration: Long-Term*



*Key skills – iLOG, jrules, java, WODM*



*Mandatory Skills:*

·         At least 8 years of IT experience

·         Experience with at least 2-3 *Business Rules
application*implementations

·         At least 2 years of implementation experience with *Websphere
ILOG 7.1x*

·         At least 5 years of *Business Analysis* experience at large-scale
companies

·         High aptitude and interest in working with the business users to
analyze processes and derive business requirements. Able to grasp business
concepts easily and communicate with the business using their language.

·         Performs Business Rule authoring lifecycle functions including
(but not limited to) harvesting and discovery, translation and analysis,
design to actual composition, execution and testing of the rules.

·         Strong Data Analysis skills, including (but not limited to), data
mining, business object model (BOM) and execution model (XML) schema
definition and UML diagramming.

·         Strong Business Analyst skills, including Process Analysis and
Requirements Definition. This includes (but not limited to) process
modeling/mapping, functional requirement document creation, user interface
design, and use case definition.

·         Strong Rule and Application Testing skills using ILOG DVS, SoapUI
and application web service calls for test case execution. This includes
(but not limited to) test case creation, execution and analysis and
reporting of results.

·         Ability to perform both functional and technical roles on
Business Rules projects.

·         Experience using (but not limited to) ILOG Rule Execution Server,
Rule Team Server and Decision Validation Services.

·         Strong skills in Websphere ILOG JRules Business Rule Engine and
developing business rules using Action Rules, Decision Tables, Decision
Trees and Rule Flows.

·         Develops, implements and supports development standards in
keeping with BRMS best practices.

*Secondary Skills:*

·         Experience using ILOG Rules Studio and Rules Solutions for Office
preferred

·         Experience developing systems using IBM Websphere, XML, Java,
J2EE, virtual classes and domains, SQL and Web Services preferred

·         Understanding the Rule governance process implemented in Rule
Team Server.

·         Development of integration through other applications through web
services/ J2EE platform or web services to the Rule Execution Server
preferred.

·         Knowledge of ILOG 7.1x architecture, development, execution and
operational environments preferred. This includes (but not limited to)
reporting, batch scheduling, monitoring, etc.

·         Experience with IBM WODM preferred.

·         Experience implementing patches or upgrades to Websphere ILOG
environment preferred.

·         Business Analysis, Project Management and/or Websphere ILOG
certifications preferred

·         Works with the Technical Analysts to document the conceptual
design; assist in preparing detailed technical specifications from which
programs will be written

·         Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of IT experience
