Role “C”/Unix Application Developer
Key Skills
We would consider someone with strong experience in at least two of
the following areas
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, major in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years C Programming experience.
• Software development on Unix/Linux OS.
• Database Experience, especially X.500, Directories, DAP and LDAP.
The following skills are not mandatory but would be considered highly
desirable:
• Unix shell scripting. Scripts like – shell or perl or tcl or other
Also knowledge of radius or diameter
• Knowledge of 'real-time' computing and inter-process communication.
• Development of complex algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding or direct experience in one or more of the following areas:
• GSM mobile core network architecture, design/roll out,
such as MSCs, HSS/HLRs, VLRs, CAMEL SCPs.
• Prepaid systems or services for IN networks.
• ASN.1
• SS7 protocols (MAP, CAP, TCAP, SCCP, etc.)
• AAA protocols (RADIUS, DIAMETER)
Personal Skills
Focussed, independent thinkers, self-starting team-players would be
the ideal applicants.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Thai
• A systematic, precise and well-organised working style.
• Keen to learn new skills, and apply existing skills in new areas.
• Able to set own work targets and plan how to meet them
• Able to cope with short periods of intense pressure
• Practical and realistic problem-solver. Decisiveness in evaluating
and resolving issues
• Sets high personal standards for quality of work
