Description
*Design and build a data warehouse for an in-house credit monitoring system
for bonds held in FRIM portfolios. *Requirements include designing and
building import routines (ETL) from data files (vendor feeds, spreadsheets,
and web sources), designing data load quality verifications, and assisting
with user interface options to manually adjust data. Data design will
require ability to add new data sources as the solution matures and data
sources evolve.
Qualifications
- Experience designing solutions based on requirements and business needs
- Expertise in Creating Dimensional modeling based on Functional
Requirements and System Design.
- Hands on experience on Star Schema Modeling, Snow-Flake Modeling, FACT
and Dimension tables, Physical and logical data Modeling.
· Expertise in designing the complete ETL process from the source
to Data Warehouse, implemented SCD to load data
· SSIS Architecture:
- Created custom SSIS Management Framework. i.e. Package
Configurations, Package Logging and Auditing, and a SSIS Template for
Packages.
- Package Configurations includes Environment Variable , SQL Server,
and Parent Variables
- Custom Package Logging and Auditing logs execution and error
information for: batches, packages, and package containers and tasks.
- SSIS Child Package Template includes common connection managers,
parent package variables, package variables, and Execute SQL Tasks for
logging package start, package end, package errors, pre-execution, and
post-execution.
- Designing for roll-back and disaster recovery.
Technical Skills
· Advance SQL Server database knowledge
· Expert Microsoft SQL Development (T-SQL)
· Expert Microsoft SSIS Development (2008, 2012)
· Experience in Data Modeling
· Understanding of Meta Data Management
· Understanding of Master Data Management
· Some knowledge of Data Quality Tools
· Strong Understanding of Agile Data Warehouse Development
· Advance knowledge of performance tuning related to ETL Development
· Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio & BIDS
· Strong communication (verbal & written) and problem solving skills
· Problem Solver - ability to take complex business processes and
provide unique solutions
· Experience in minimizing technical risks and exposures
· Foster partnerships with various "clients" within First Republic
Bank (FRB)
Experience
· 5+ Years of in MS SQL Server Database Design/Development
· 3+ Years of MS SSIS Experience
· 5+ Years of Data Warehousing Experience
· Experience with VLDB's
· Certifications (Microsoft, TDWI, PMP, etc)
