* * *Position: .Net Developer (Production Support)* *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Duration: 18 months* Along with the operations support team, the web support engineers manage the production needs associated with 50 ASP.NET and .NET applications that provide services to over 3,000 retail branch offices. The main responsibilities of the web support engineer include quickly diagnosing and resolving defects associated with moderately complex to complex intranet applications. After resolving the defect, the support engineer will coordinate the release of the software into the production environment. The support engineer will work closely with operations support and product managers to establish the priorities of issues and provide regular feedback. The support engineer should be able to recommend process improvements related to defect resolution. *Required Experience*** · The successful candidate will have at least 5 - 7 years of commercial software development experience, along with the following: · Demonstrated solid application development skills utilizing C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript · Extensive database experience with SQL Server and Oracle · Knowledge of basic network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, etc,) and technology · Knowledge of application and web security · Experience with high availability high-volume Web applications · Solid background in OO design and programming, knowledge of UML and modern software engineering practices · Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and formal development processes (creating specifications, technology pilots, analyzing application performance etc) · Experience creating test cases · Strong interpersonal and written skills and organization · Ability to interact with the technical work group and business partners in a positive and productive way in order to accomplish goals · Ability to work independently · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field *TOP 3 SKILLS/MUST Haves*** .Net 4.0, C# core concept experience- Must know Object Oriented Development. Visual Studio SQL Server & Oracle Data base developer JavaScript troubleshooting and debugging skills.
