Position: Sr. Commvault Administrator

Location: Cincinnati, OH or Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6 months

**Will be Phone/Skype hire**



Overview:

The Sr. Commvault Administrator will provide administrative and operational
support for North America regional data center infrastructure systems in
support of service levels. The position performs Installations, maintains,
monitors, and trouble shoots complex systems, inclusive of  Mainframes,
servers, operating systems, application and servers,. This position may
specialize in and be assigned responsibility for one or more system types
including Unix, Linux, Windows Server,  Exchange/Lotus Notes, Websphere,
Cisco Network Devices or other special function systems.



Must have the ability to evaluate and make decisions on Server issues that
affect all the North American operating companies ability to process
business electronically. Ability to provide and implement technical
solutions that meet business needs. The ability to provide leadership to
staff when solving critical problems that affect the availability of
services.



Experience:

·         Five or more years experience in performing system support and
administration in Data Center Operations dealing with Server and Storage
operations

·         Technical certifications such as Microsoft MCSE,  Cisco CCNA

·         Detailed knowledge of specific systems such as Windows Servers,
UNIX, Linux, Vmware, Lotus Notes, Citrix, EMC Storage Systems, and/or Cisco
Switches & Routers

·         Ability to use administrative and troubleshooting tools such as
System monitors and Network Analyzers

·         Ability to organize and integrate complex business activities.

·         Verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills necessary to
effectively communicate technical ideas with technical and non-technical
users.

·         Analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret data
regarding systems and networks.

·         Ability to independently learn and understand technical manuals
for LANs, WANs, PCs, mainframes and servers.

·         Interpersonal skills requiring maximum courtesy, etiquette, and
tact in order to effectively deal with all levels of management and staff
in unusual, emotionally charged or routine situations.

·         Ability to be flexible in order to perform a variety of duties,
often changing focus from one task to another without loss of efficiency or
composure.

·         Ability to adapt to stressful situations when confronted with
busy or unusually busy situations.

·         Contact on a frequent basis with employees on network and system
related issues.

·         Works with development to provide proper infrastructure design.

·         Contact vendors to discuss problems with system software and/or
hardware.

·         Attend group meetings and product demonstrations to gain
knowledge of system and network software and hardware.
