If interested please send me your word format resume at [email protected] *Position: Software Test Specialist* *Location: Rockville, MD* *Duration: 6+Months* *F2F Required* Job Description – Software Test Specialist: This position requires testing activities to support the development of Clinical Trials Research Management applications for CTIS, which is a CMMI Level 3 certified company. The primary focus of this position is to implement automated software testing and to integrate automation with established manual testing processes. The responsibilities include: Project-related Responsibilities: • Work with DBA and IT department s to set up and configure automated testing tool • Write automation scripts • Edit and maintain automation scripts • Define verification plans • Design and execute test cases / scenarios • Identify, investigate, and prioritize software defects • Write SQL scripts to inspect data loaded to database in support of verification activities • Effectively communicate with project manager and other team members both orally and in writing Functional Responsibilities: • Share acquired skills with team members • Mentor more junior members of the software testing team Understanding of following technical concepts/tools/etc.: • Automated software testing tool(s) • Java programming • Software development processes and relevant best practices • Basic relational database concepts Non-technical skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Follow through with commitments • Methodical approach and attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Required Skills – Software Test Specialist: • 5+ years of experience in software testing including automated and manual black-box testing of web-based and client server applications • Minimum 2 years of experience in automated testing. • “Hands-on” experience recording test scripts using an automated testing tool • Experience editing and maintaining test scripts • BS/BA, BS in technical discipline preferred Desired Skills – Software Test Specialist: • Knowledge of clinical trials and their conduct • Experience testing hospital management systems and/or electronic medical records • Experience working in a CMMI environment *Thanks and Regards,* *Joseph Adams* *Nuline Systems, Inc* Contact: 513-442-4187 Email ID: [email protected] <[email protected]> www.nulinesystems.com This e-mail is property of Nuline Systems Inc.
