Everest is currently looking for *QA Analyst with DWH/ETL background- Costa Mesa, CA* *Sr.QA Analyst with DWH/ETL background * *Costa Mesa- CA* *Skills Required:* • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of professional experience including some warehousing experience. • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies. • Good problem solving skills and time management skills. • *Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.* • *Knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts.* • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, outstanding attention to detail • Ability to work on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines • Experience in large enterprise IT environments and production support • Participates in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions. • Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes. • Creates test data and maintains regression test suites. • Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches. • Mentors junior team members on applications and job functions. • Represents management or lead at status and technical meetings, as needed. • Reviews development test plans, design documents, test cases and results, as needed. • Researches problems reported in production application, and communicate results with appropriate parties for resolution. • Analyze raw data to ensure the data will meet the business need. • Clearly communicate and document test results and defect resolution during all phases of testing. • Focus on Data Quality issues / problems. (completeness, conformity, consistency, accuracy, duplicates, integrity) • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to communicate the understanding of how a data warehouse is built and how data is transformed and loaded. • Experience in data analysis and data testing. • SQL Server database, relational and dimensional data modeling, data dictionary; full lifecycle design and application development knowledge. • Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application servers. • Experience running batch commands, scheduled jobs, and reviewing output, logs, etc. on each platform. • Responsible for the overall success of testing.
